Hello, I am Alistair Brown and I am currently in my second year of Software Engineering at the University of Southampton.
The place I call home is Belfast, even though I live in Southampton and my family now lives in France.

I am a big fan of the internet and although I don't know everything about it, I love to learn.
Websites now have so much power and I enjoy creating sites that do useful things.
I'm just waiting for that one amazing idea that I can use to revolutionise the internet. It's been done before, so why not again?

A strange name I know, it has a slight reference to a nickname of mine.
It also sounds kinda catchy. Always a bonus.
I've wanted a website of my own for a long time and finally got off the free hosting and purchased one so that I could create a blog for my travels (see projects: mindthegap).
Since then, not alot has happened with it, so with my spare time I now plan to add more projects and improve my skills.
